In this private Rose Valley garden, you will find a client who had the imagination to envision a design that would become integral to the landscape surrounding their beautiful home.  With a plan that included a formal pond up on the low hill near the house, and a waterfall/stream connecting a natural-style second pond at the base of the hill, as well as stone retaining walls to terrace the hill, this project required major land-excavation to complete.  A semi-formal circular patio off the house incorporated a stone wall.  The choice of stone for this large landscaping project and the overall design makes this landscape look as if it has been there for decades.  Once the plants fill in, over the next two to three years, it will be difficult to imagine that this property ever looked any different.
